Welcome from the president

50 Top Speakers from 5 Continents
The unfolding COVID-19-crisis has significantly affected the event industry. With much regret, the ISAPS Board of Directors has made the difficult but appropriate decision to postpone the ISAPS World Congress, which would have been held in Vienna, Austria this September 2-5, to September 9-12, 2021.

But: we still want to mark our 50th anniversary in a fitting way – in these new, more digital times.
Therefore, we would like to invite you to be a part of ISAPS‘ first-ever virtual congress, the ISAPS VIRTUAL OLYMPIAD! This one-of-a-kind event will take place on Saturday, September 5th, 2020.

Let’s celebrate 50 years of ISAPS with a virtual showdown between 50 top speakers from 5 continents. Who will stand on the podium at the end of this virtual Olympics?

Our state-of-the-art virtual conference technology will showcase our usual high quality scientific program: Join 50 live guest lectures and interactive discussions, that will take place in two parallel session rooms!

But we will also celebrate the ceremonial handover of office to my successor as president, Dr. Nazim Cerkes.

To complete the congress- experience, don’t miss out on our full virtual exhibition, which will last 2 days, starting already on September 4, 2020!

ISAPS would not be able to run such a successful congress without the support of our industry partners and exhibitors, and we greatly appreciate them being a part of this new event.

We are excited to offer you the chance to listen to the lectures of our renowned speakers and discuss with them, to discover current and new products and to meet your colleagues and the industry partners (perhaps for some of you for the first time since lockdown!).

So please, save the date and plan to join us on Saturday, September 5th, the same day we would otherwise have celebrated with you live and with a glass of champagne in Vienna.
